BSF trooper Commits Suicide in Jammu
Jammu, Dec 28: A Border Security Force trooper allegedly committed suicide by jumping before a moving train in Jammu, police said today. . . .
"The BSF trooper, identified as Mohammad Munshi, resident of Thannamandi, district Rajouri, who was deployed with the 159 battalion BSF, yesterday jumped before the train few metres away when the train left the Jammu Tawi Railway Station and ended his life," police said.
During search, a suicide note was recovered from the briefcase of the trooper, police said, adding, "he had admitted in the note that he was committing suicide but no reason was mentioned as to why he was taking the extreme step." A case has been registered and the body has been handed over to the family members for the last rites.
