SRINAGAR Dec 30: After the High Court quashed the detention of Muslim League vuce-chief and senior Hurriyat Conference (G) leader, Masrat Alam Bhat, for the third time under PSA, the sub-registrar has directed the police to hand him over to his family through the concerned police station, in case he was wanted in any other case. The case has been listed for next hearing on January 20, 2012.

According to reports, Bhat was brought from Kathua jail on Thursday and produced before the court which ordered his release. He had been arrested on October 18, 2010, in connection with his role in the summer unrest after remaining underground for several months.
