SRINAGAR, 31 Dec: Ghulam Nabi Sumji, the General Secretary of Hurriyat (G), in a statement said that a seminar would be held in Srinagar on 5th January in which political leaders and intellectuals would highlight the importance of the UN resolution passed on that day in 1949.
The resolution had promised holding of a plebiscite in Jammu and Kashmir to give the Kashmiris an opportunity to decide their future by themselves.
