Valley Observes Shut-down against the Killing of Altaf Sood

SRINAGAR, 06-Jan: The whole valley of Kashmir has observed a shut-down on the call given by JKLF, KEA and other organisations following the killing of a 23 year old boy at Boniyar Baramulla on Jan 02/2011.

All the business establishments and offices remain closed. A little private traffic was plying on the roads. Police has investigated the incident and has came up with the reports that "CISF (Central Investigation Security Forces) opened fire on the unarmed protesters without any provocation. They fired nearly 90 rounds on protesters who were protesting against the power curtailments. However a Policeman of JKP snatched the gun of a CISF personnel otherwise disaster would be much more". Indian Administrated Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has also protested infront of Union Minister of India to stop killings of innocents in Kashmir.
