The government said it will submit its crucial report about the demands of employees within ten days to the cabinet while the employees’ Joint Consultative Committee (JCC) asserted that there will be no compromise on the enhancement of retirement age from 58 to 60.

The decision in this regard was taken after an hour-long meeting between the high-level committee of the government led by Chief Secretary, Madhav Lal and the JCC leaders comprising, leaders of both factions of Employees Joint Action Committee (EJAC) and civil secretariat employees’ union chief in Jammu.
