Police on Tuesday arrested a youth for his alleged involvement in firing incident on city outskirts last night.
A police spokesman said the accused Arzoo Shafi Bhat son of Muhammad Shafi Bhat of Nowgam, who had allegedly fired upon Syed Ahmed Mir of Charlipora Nowgam last night was arrested this afternoon.

“The weapon of offence involved in the commission of the crime was also recovered and seized. The accused has confessed to the crime and further investigations are on,” he added.
