JAMMU AND KASHMIR: 30, Aug ,2012: One person died and ten others including five police constables were injured in different road accidents across the Kashmir Valley. A Load carrier without number hit and injured Ghulam Qadir Bhat, age 60 years, son of Ghulam Mohammad resident of Ragipora, Laserpora near Manzgam, Kulgam, falling under the jurisdiction of police station D.H Pora. The injured succumbed to his injuries on way to the hospital. A case has been registered in this regard. In another accident, a Sumo bearing registration number JK05A/0496 collided with an Army vehicle of 5012ASC Bn. near Puthkhah, Sopore, falling under the jurisdiction of police station Sopore today, resulting in injuries to two passengers. Both the injured were shifted to Sub District Hospital, Sopore for treatment. A case has been registered in this regard. In another accident, a Ruby vehicle bearing registration number JK05/7631 of IRP 7th Bn. on way from Baramulla to Srinagar skidded off the road into the nearby paddy field near petrol pump Puthkhah, Sopore, falling under the jurisdiction of police station Sopore. Five personnel of IRP 7th Bn. Got injured in the mishap. All the injured were shifted to hospital for treatment. A case has been registered in this regard. In another accident, a speedy Tavera bearing registration number JK01R/4552 which was coming from Jammu to Srinagar hit and injured a girl 13 years old girl Aamira daughter of Ghulam Hassan Khan resident of Pantha chowk, Srinagar. The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment. A case has been registered in this regard. In another accident, a Bus bearing registration number JK03B/2604 rammed into a Bakery shop of Mohammad Amin Sheer Gojri son of Ghulam Hassan resident of Chamgund near Chumgund, Kulgam, falling under the jurisdiction of police station Devsar, resulting in injuries to the shopkeeper and damages to the shop and the Bus. A case has been registered in this regard. In another accident, a WagonR bearing registration number JK031/8912 hit and injured a girl Aarifa Gulzar, daughter of Gulzar Ahmad Thoker resident of Shoganpora near JK Bank Kadder, Kulgam, falling under the jurisdiction of police station Behi Bagh. The injured was shifted to hospital for more treatment. A case has been registered in this regard.
