3rd Cloud burst Struck in Past 24 hours; Alert given for next 72 hours
SRINAGAR; 22, June 2012: From the past 24 hours 3 Cloud-bursts struck valley at different places.
The first one struck at Power recieving station in Pinjoora Shopian resulting in damage to the recieving station.
2nd one struck at Tulail Gurez in Bandipora District resulting in damage to 1 BSF Bunker and 8 residential houses. 5 BSF men were injured and 1 is still missing.
Now the 3rd One struck at village Aafan in Lolab area of Kupwara District, 5 cowsheds & 4 bridges were washed out.
Meanwhile authorities have issued a warning for next 72 hours, that lightening may struck and various places in the valley and people are requested to stay away from metallic zones.
