KARGIL; 18, Aug 2012: The two major religious organizations of Kargil, Imam-Khomeni Memorial Trust and the Islamia School sighted the shawal moon on Saturday and declared that Eid will be celebrated in Kargil on Sunday.
 Soon after sighting the shawal moon, the volunteers of IKMT and Islamia School made the announcements through loudspeakers while moving in vehicles around Kargil.
