SHOPIAN; 18, Aug 2012:  In order to curb black marketing, profiteering so that consumers are provided quality food and essential items on the eve of festivity. Tehsildar Shopian, along with Executive Officer, Municipal Committee and Food Safety Officer Shopian accompanied by Enforcement Squad of CA&PD conducted market checking in Shopian town and destroyed 1.85 qtls of rotten vegetable and unhygienic edible items and collected Rs. 1250 as fine from the erring vendors.
