SRINAGAR; 17, Aug 2012: Police arrested Chairman of Hurriyat Conference (G) Syed Ali Shah Geelani Sahab and prevented him to offer Jumta-ul-Vida prayers. He was scheduled to offer today's friday prayers at Baituk Mukarram Masjid in Baramulla. Geelani Sahab has been lodged in Humhama Police station.
Police also arrested Muhammad Ashraf Sehri and lodged him in Police Station Narbal.
Chairman DFP Shabir Ah Shah has been also put under house arrested, he was scheduled to visit Hazratbal Shrine to offer Friday prayers.
Chairman JKLF Muhammad Yasin Malik visited Charar-e-Sheriff and addressed a huge gathering there.
