Indian Authorities blocked Our Free SMS Alerts
SRINAGAR; 15, Sep 2012: Indian occupation authorities have blocked our Free SMS NEWS ALERTS in Kashmir. The Service was launched in March 2011 after Indian authorities banned media in Kashmir.
It was based on micro-blogging twitter site and was providing sms on Airtel mobile subscribers.
The sms service crossed more than 5 lac subscribers in 2 years. In June 2012, the new subscription to the service was blocked in Kashmir. However before blocking its subscription the number of subscribers reached to 5,04,827. But our existing subscribers continued to receive SMS alerts.
Finally today Indian authorities blocked our sms service completely.
It is shame on Indian authorities and on their democracy that they are suppressing the voice of people.
