One dies Five Injured in Road Accidents

SRINAGAR; 10, Sep 2012: One person died in a road mishap at Zojila while five others were injured in two different accidents in Kashmir valley, meanwhile a dead body was recovered from Babademb Srinagar.
A Santro bearing chasis number CH-9593 fell into a deep gorge near Bajri Nalla Zojila, falling under the jurisdiction of Police Station Sonamarg, Ganderbal, resulting in injuries to three persons. All the injured were shifted to Sub District Hospital, Kangan. Among the injured Mohammad Ismail resident of Jagsan, Drass succumbed to his injuries. The body is lying in Sub District Hospital, Kangan for medico legal formalities. Sonamarg Police has registered a case in this regard.
Meanwhile, a truck bearing registration number JK013/5231 and a Scorpio bearing Chasis number 51D64 collided at Unisoo, in the jurisdiction of Police Station Handwara, resulting in injuries to three passengers who were shifted to District Hospital, Handwara for treatment. Handwara Police has registered a case in this regard.
A youth was found dead in suspicious circumstances at a scrap shop in Srinagar.
A 19 years old youth Irshad Ahmad Koker son of Nazir Ahmad resident of Sonabrari, Kokernag was found dead in the scrap shop of Abdul Rahim Kalla son of Ghulam Ahmad Kalla at Badadem Srinagar, in the jurisdiction of Police Station M.R.Gunj Srinagar.
The body has been kept in mortuary of SKIMS Soura Srinagar for medico legal formalities. MR Police has initiated inquests proceedings under section 174 CRPC in this regard.
