Life Pharma proprietors are involved in drug scam: Sham
SRINAGAR; 19, April 2013: Bailing out his Chief Polling Agent, former Health Minister Sham Lal Sharma Friday the proprietors of Life Line Pharma Surgical responsible for supplying fake drugs in hospitals. Claiming that Doctors Association of Kashmir has no registration, Sharma said that a particular newspaper is busy in spewing venom against him. “It is a sheer frustration on part of people in Kashmir that they are raising hue and cry over the spurious drugs while the fact is that these drugs were supplied to Jammu based hospitals as well,” Sharma told reports during a press conference in Gandhi Nagar, Jammu.
Though Sham Lal Sharma avoided most of the questions, however he claimed that he has no role in spurious drug scam. “Fake drugs were supplied by Life Line pharma Surgical 130/4 Dream City, Mutthi, Jammu under license number JK-7962-63. Its proprietors, Akhil Guddo son of I.K.Gudoo resident of 109 Tamal Colony, Bohri Talab Tillo Jammu and Amardeep Raina son of B.N.Raina 436A Vinayek Nagar Sector 2 Mutthi, Jammu are directly responsible for supplying fake drugs to state hospitals,” Sharma said and refused to answer when he was asked despite knowing this why he didn’t lodge FIR against these proprietors.
