ISLAMABAD; 18, April 2013; Intensifying demand to probe the spurious drug scam involving state politicians and medical education officials, South Kashmir Civil Society (SKCS) today held a protest demonstration in Anantnag and raised slogans against the state government.
Protest rally started from Industrial area of the district and passed through various areas of the town like Iqbal Market, Mattan chowk and Lal Chowk and culminated at D C office Anantnag were they submitted a memorandum to Deputy Commissioner Anantnag, seeking independent and impartial time bound enquiry into the spurious drug supplies to government hospitals and supply of unhygienic drinking water to the common populace.
