3 Feared Drowned In Jhelum

BARAMULLA: 12, May 2013: Three persons were feared drowned after they went fishing in river Jhelum in Baramulla district in north Kashmir, police said on Sunday.

Habibullah Mir (50), his son Naseer Mir (16) and another person Aftab Ahmad Khatana (30) had gone for fishing in the river in Salamabad area of Uri near Line of Control (LoC) yesterday, but did not return back, a police spokesman said.

The three were feared dead, the spokesman said, adding efforts are on to retrieve their bodies.
