‘Rapist’ Dervish’s Followers Protest, Cry Foul in Kashmir

Followers of the self-styled dervish, arrested in
Srinagar on charges of raping minor girls, have staged a
protest to demand his release.
Over a hundred men wearing skull caps and women clad in the Burqa gathered at the Press Colony in Srinagar chanting religious slogans like “Deenas Bahaara, Syed Gulzaara (Prosperity for Islam is Syed Gulzar)”.
The protesters said allegations against their ‘innocent priest’ were baseless and leveled by another group of Islamic scholars with personal vendetta. Most of the protesters were taken into custody by the local.
Gulzar Ahmad, a self styled Muslim Darvish from Budgam’s Shamsabad was arrested by police on Tuesday on charges of raping young Kashmiri girls on the pretext of purifying and revitalizing the sexual power of women under a subtle guidance of Quranic knowledge of Behast (Islamic heaven).
Known as revered ‘Syed Gulzar’, he ran a residential institution for girls which offered a two-months course in Islamic studies for ‘Purification of Sex’ in Khansahib area of Budgam district in Kashmir valley.
Sources say that four girl students, all aged under 18, complained to the police that ‘Syed Gulzar’ indulged in sexual activities with them at hostel and most of the time he invited other persons from outside to perform group sex inside the Muslim girls’ hostel.
“He would tell the girls that having sex with him was necessary to purify them from all evil,” a police source officer claimed.
According to the girls, the fake peer would quote saying the Arabic quotations from the Holy Quran to justify his free sexual activities with them to induce the endless sensuality to his counterparts under an eminent Islamic power.
Police said medical examination of the girls confirmed rape. Consequently, Gulzar has been booked under section 376 (Punishment for rape) of Indian Penal Code.
Also known as ‘Miracle Baba’, who often gave advertisement in local newspapers claiming to be a Sufi Saint, also delivered sermons through cable TV network in Kashmir Valley.
Molvi Muhammad Amin, the whistleblower in this case, says the fake preacher would manipulate verses of Quran to motivate the girls in to free sex. He alleges that Gulzar has so far raped nearly 200 girls at the hostel of his institution.
Court rejected the bail of Syed Gulzar and Police to him under custody for further investigation.

ReplyDeleteI think it is necessary to punish the parents of these girls first because they provide opportunity to these bastard fake peers then this peer should be given punishment on the middle of road there is no question of conspiracy because he is already against shariah so he deserves harsh punishment.
ReplyDeleteek illetrate admi ek alim kaise hosakta hai,, he is a fraud, Islam mein is baat ki bilkul bi ijazat nahi ki koi gair mard kisi gair ladki ya aurat ko taleem de... yeh us anpad jahil ko pata nahi...so he is a bloody rapist...should be punished as per indian pannel code for rape.....
