Selection Notification for M.Ed (Distance Mode) 2013

The Directorate of Distance Education is notifying provisional admission for M.Ed , Course-2013 and the cut point for each category is as under:

WUP - 76.2 %
CDP - 73.4 %
SPT - 66.7 %
NCC - 73.2 %
PHC - 73.0 %
CGB - 61.8 %
OSJ - 69.0 %


The candidates are advised to go through below mentioned instructions carefully before submitting the admission form.

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. The admission form of M.Ed batch 2013 will be available on the official website of Directorate of Distance Education (www.ddeku.edu.in) with effect from 17th of May 2013 from 2 pm onwards.

2. The candidate can download the admission form from the Information Centers in Degree Colleges established by Directorate of IT&SS, University of Kashmir or any internet café. For the selected candidates, pre-filled-admission-form will be auto-generated along with the necessary instructions.

3. The candidates shall deposit Rs 15000/- in any branch of J&K Bank on the slip which shall be automatically generated with the pre-filled-form .

4. The candidates shall enclose the necessary documents along with two copies of latest photograph (marks certificate of qualifying examination, Date of Birth Certificate, Character /Provisional , State Subject Certificate, Category Certificate (if any) with the hard copy of pre-filled-admission-form, with effect from 18th May 2013 to 27th May 2013 (excluding Sunday)/ Holidays, failing which their right to admission shall be forfeited and the resultant vacancy /ies shall be filled up from the waiting list strictly in order of merit.

5. The Selected Candidate shall have to submit the migration certificate (if required) within 20 days from the date of admission, failing which the admission of the candidate shall be deemed cancelled.

6. Candidates who have passed their qualifying examination from other universities shall also submit the registration-cum-eligibility-form along with the pre-filled-admission-form, which is also available on the university website www.kashmiruniversity.net or www.ddeku.edu.in .

7. Those candidates who have migrated to any other university from the University of Kashmir shall submit the registration revival-form (migration certificate to be enclosed in original) along with pre-filled admission form which can also be downloaded from the university website www.kashmiruniversity.net or www.ddeku.edu.in.

8. Candidate shall bring all original certificates including category certificate with them for verification at the time of submission of admission form.

9. Candidates are advised to read the instructions regarding the selection of optional papers which are uploaded on the website and select the optional paper as per his/her choice. Optional paper once opted cannot be changed later on.

10. The Selected Candidates of M.Ed can submit the admission form at any place given below

For Kashmir Division: Directorate of Distance Education, University of Kashmir. 

For Jammu Division: Study-Cum- Information Centre, Directorate of Distance Education, University of Kashmir, 172-A/D Gandhi Nagar Jammu-180004.

For Ladakh Division: Study-Cum-Information Centre, Govt Degree College Kargil. Study-Cum-Information Centre, DIET Leh..

11. The selected candidate has to submit an affidavit on judicial stamp of Rs 5 duly attested by first class magistrate along with the admission form. The proforma of the affidavit is available on the Distance Education Website www.ddeku.edu.in.

12. In supersession of this University notification of even number dated 16-09-2008, it is for the information of all concerned that the dual course scheme which was applicable for the students of Kashmir University have been suspended vide University Notification No: F(Amed-Statutes-Gen)Acad/KU,dated March 01,2011.

13. Admission is given to eligible candidate on the face value of the relevant certificates, if, at any stage, it is found so or it comes to the notice of the University that a candidate has made false or incorrect statements or used fraudulent means for admission or does not fulfill the eligibility requirements, or due to oversight any mistake has occurred in filling the form, his/her admission shall be cancelled at any stage without assigning any reason thereof.

14. All admission granted are on provisional basis till the eligibility of the candidate to the respective course is determined by the Registration Section of the University of Kashmir.

15. All legal cases pertaining to any course of the Directorate of Distance Education, University of Kashmir shall be limited to the Jurisdiction of District Srinagar only.

16. To ensure transparency and accountability in our system the candidates shall register their genuine-admission-related grievances supported with relevant documents on the proforma available on the DDE website www.ddeku.edu.in and submit the same in the Enquiry cell of the Directorate of Distance Education University of Kashmir till 22nd May, 2013, no grievance shall be entertained after expiry of the last date.
