He was on his way back to home after addressing people at Beeru on the occasion of Mehraj Un Nabi and was scheduled to address the Friday congregation at Jamia Masjid,Anantnag and lead protests after Friday Prayers against the arrest of youth who have been allegedly implicated in throwing Grenade at Sheirbagh Police station
