BARAMULLA; 26, July 2013: A sarpanch was shot at from a point blank range as he was coming out of a Mosque in north Kashmir's Sopore town, police sources told.

They said Khazir Mohammad was returning from congregational Friday prayers in Krakshan when suspected rebels shot at him.



He was shifted to SMHS hospital in Srinagar where doctors described his condition as 'life threatening'.
