4 warriors martyred near LoC
KUPWARA; 01, Aug 2013: Four warriors were martyred by Occupying forces in a three-day long encounter along the Line of Control (LoC) in Handwara area of north Kashmir.
"Four militants have been killed along the LoC in Hafruda forest area in the operation which was launched on Tuesday," the Indian Army official said.
Two Indian troopers were also injured in the operation, he said, adding that further details are awaited.

With this, the number of warriors martyred in encounters in Kupwara District during past four days reached to 9.
