NEW DELHI; 27, Aug 2013: A six-year-old girl was allegedly raped by a middle aged man inside the premises of a temple in South-West Delhi's Bindapur area here, police said today.

The 52-year-old man yesterday lured the girl inside the temple on some pretext and raped her, they said.

The incident came to light this morning when the girl's parents found that she was sexually assaulted following which they took her to Deen Dayal Upadhyay hospital and reported the incident to police.

"The accused has been arrested. The girl has been discharged from the hospital. She is doing fine," a police official said.

Meanwhile, A 12-year-old girl was allegedly raped by her stepfather here, police said today.

The man has been arrested, they said.

According to police, the incident took place on Sunday afternoon when the girl was alone with her stepfather at their residence in West Delhi's Punjabi Bagh area.

"The man raped the girl when her mother had gone to market to buy some groceries. When she returned, the victim narrated her ordeal to her, following which she filed a complaint against her husband," said a police official.

The medical examination of the girl confirmed rape.

In a similar incident, a man was arrested for molesting an eight-year-old girl after he lured her to his residence in West Delhi's Kirti Nagar area on Sunday afternoon.

According to the police, the 60-year-old man, identified as Ombir, was thrashed by locals after the girl narrated the incident to her parents
