Curfew clamped in 5 more districts of Jammu region
JAMMU; 11, Aug 2013: Curfew was clamped in 5 more districts in Jammu region on Sunday and Army staged flag marches as the administration declared violence-rocked Kishtwar out of bounds for politicians and journalists.
Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah flew to the winter capital and reviewed the situation, directing stern action against those disturbing peace.
Curfew was extended today to Udhampur, Samba, Kathua, Rajouri, Poonch, Bhaderwah town in Doda and Reasi town affecting 8 out of 10 districts in Jammu region.
Meanwhile normal life was also affected in valley on the call of Hurriyat leader Syed Ali Shah Geelani.
