Dozens fell Unconscious in Kralpora Kupwara
KUPWARA; 20, Aug 2013: Dozens of Patients fell Unconscious in Kupwara distict after they got allegedly fake medicines from Kralpora Hospital in Kupwara District on Monday.
A Family member of a patient told " Tasleema (Name changed) felt unconscious soon after she take the medicines given to her in Kralpora Hospital. After few hours she opened her eyes and when we again went to the Kralpora hospital there were many patients who also felt unconscious with the medicines given to them. When we asked the doctor about the reason of unconscious he refused to comment and take back the medicines given to her few days before."
Sources said at least 34 patients of the Kralpora and Villigam block of Kupwara District fell unconscious on Monday night soon after they take the alleged fake medicines given to them by the paramedical staff on duty.
Panic gripped in the whole area when this news came out. Various civil societies and religious organisations have condemned this and demanded immediate action.
