Geelani rejects probe by Hindu Officer in Kishtwar Voilence

KN DESK; 10, Aug 2013: All Parties Hurriyat Conference Syed Ali Shah Geelani rejected the probe by a Hindu man in Kishtwar Clashes.

In a statement, he said "A man who belongs to that community who attacked muslims while they were offering prayers, has been appointed to deliver justice and how can we expect justice from him. We appeal the International Human right associations to probe this case which lead to death of 2 persons and  also the conditions for this"

Earlier the state government appointed Shantmanu Divisional Commissioner, Jammu as the inquiry officer in the case.

"Whether it is a Dogra, a Pandit or any other Hindu fr Jammu or from some other places, He is our brother on the basis of humanity. The district administration and the local police are of communal ideas and are in favour of hindus." said the octogenarian leader

He also cited examples of Praveen Togadia of RSS group. According to Geelani, "Praveen Togadia started communal clashes in Rajouri following which the government had to impose curfew for 10 days, but still Praveen Togodia is allowed to come Rajouri and visit other places. While as we are not being allowed to step out of the home."

"We are with the muslims of Jammu region and we are feeling their pains and sufferings and we will never allow anybody to repeat the 1947 Jammu Massacre, when more than 5 lac muslims were killed." He added
