Jaitley Stopped From Entering Kishtwar
KN DESK; 11, Aug 2013 : The Jammu and Kashmir government has stopped Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) leader Arun Jaitley from going to violence-hit Kishtwar on Sunday . While, Rajya Sabha MP of BJP from Punjab and incharge of Jammu and Kashmir, Avinash Raj Khanna, was arrested in Lakhanpur area of Kathua. Khanna was held when he tried to cross Jammu and Kashmir border from Punjab.
The state government, however, has expressed fears that the visit by the BJP team may flare up tension in the area. Meanwhile BJP Top leader Narendra Modi tweeted, "Stopping Opposition leaders in this manner shows that the Government does not want the truth about the Kishtwar violence to come out."
