Muslim Man killed by VDC members in Police Station Padder
KN DESK; 11, Aug 2013: Incidents that took place in Mumbai riots (1992-93) and Gujarat Riots (2002) are also happening in Kishtwar District, where State government is claiming that a strict curfew has been enforced and Indian Amry is conducting the march.
As per the sources, a civilian belonging to muslim community namely Lasa S/O: Mohammadoo who had taken refuge in Police Station Padder, was killed after Village Defense Committee members (hindu extremists provided with weapons by State Government) kidnapped him from the Police Station.
Earlier on 9th August, a PHE employee Bashir Ahmed Sheikh was burnt alive to death by the miscreants when the ill fated man was heading towards his residence at Sangra Bhata.
"He was handicapped, and was caught in an isolated area by miscreants belonging to Hindu community and was burnt to death," locals said.
