Budgam; 27 ,Aug 2013; Police arrested a drug paddler from Central Kashmir’s Beerwa area and recovered scores of strips of Alprex tablets and codeine bottles from him. According to reports that Police arrested one notorious drug paddler Ab Majeed Bhat s/o Ab Rashid Bhat resident of Hanjguru Beerwa by profession a chemist who used to supply banned drugs to youth in Khansahib and Beerwah area.After receiving specific information, police party laid a nakka at Hanjguru and arrested him. “Though the accused tried to flee from the spot however he was chased by the policemen and was trapped. The bag carried by him contained Alprex tablets and one hundred banned Corex syrups,” official sources said. One motor Bike has been also seized. FIR has been lodged under section excise act in this regard.
