1 held with ammunition in Bandipora: Police
BANDIPORA; 27, Sep 2013: According to a police statement, "One person was apprehended by Bandipora police carrying ammunition at a Naka checking at Wangipora, Bandipora.
During the intervening night of 25/26.09.2013, a naka was established at Wangipora, Bandipora in the jurisdiction of police station Sumbal. During the checking at the naka, police apprehended one Parveiz Ahmad son of Abdul Rashid resident of Shuganpora, Kulgam. Two AK magazines, ten rounds of AK ammunition and one RPG booster was recovered from his possession. A case has been registered in this regard."
