Ahlulbayt Conference Seeks Ban on Liquor Trade

SRINAGAR; 24, Sep 2013: Lauding the anti liquor movement earmarked by the karwan-i-islami,the spokesman of Ahlulbyt Conference representative of Ahlulbyit World Assembly in Kashmir Hujatul Islam Aaga Syed Abdulhussain Moosvi Tuesday demanded that the purchase and sale of liquor in Jammu and Kashmir should be banned completely.

He said that Islam does not permit the use of liquor and being the Muslim majority state, the government should consider the public demand seriously and ban this trade in Valley. “Drinking is not only prohibited in islam but also it is root cause of all evils including animosity, envy and distraction from the path of Allah,” he said.
