Haqeeqat-e-Kashmir to Start at 12 PM: Khurram Parvez
SRINAGAR; 07, Sep 2013: Convener of the Jammu and Kashmir Coalition of Civil Societies, Khuram Parvez, who is also the organizer of the event 'Haqeeqat-e-Kashmir' (Reality of Kashmir) has urged people to join the event which will commence from 12:00 PM at Municipal Park Srinagar, 10 kms away from the venue where German embassy in collaboration with Indian government and State government is organizing 'Ehsaas-e-Kashmir' (Feelings of Kashmir).
The event is being organized to highlight the Human rights violations in Kashmir and has been organized as a parallel even to the Zubin Mehta's 'Ehsaas-e-Kashmir'.

Khurram Pervez, coordinator of Haqeeqat-e-Kashmir told that the preparations for the programme will start round about 10:00 am. “We will be setting stage and hosting banners by 10:00am,” he said, adding, “We appeal people to start assembling at the venue by 12:00pm.”
“There will be a huge presence of foreign media and this is the best way to show them the true picture in Kashmir." He added.
The permitted time for the event is from 1630 hrs (04:30 pm), just thirty minutes before when the Zubin show starts today at Shalimar garden.
Sources say this has been apparently done to keep the German Ambassador, Michael Steiner, occupied with his own function at Shalimar Garden. He had reportedly said that he will also participate in the parallel concert 'Haqeeqat-e-Kashmir'
