SHOPIAN; 12, Sep 2013: Locals alleged that the forces of 14th Battalion of CRPF detained four women protestors on Wednesday evening who were pelting stones on the paramilitary forces. The women were later released when a large crowd circled the camp.

Late on Wednesday evening, protestors used loudspeakers installed in mosques and asked the people to come out of their house and stage protest demonstration against this act by CRPF troopers, eyewitnesses said.
