Shah Addresses Bereaved Families of Palhallan over phone
SRINAGAR; 20, Sep 2013: Chairman Democratic Freedom Party Shabir Ahmad Shah Friday addressed the bereaved families of Muhammad Yaqoob and Bilal Ahmad who were killed in encounter at Palhallan, Pattan on Tuesday night this week.
Paying glowing tributes, Shah in his telephonic address said till black laws like AFSPA, PSA and Disturbed Areas Act are in use in J&K, the Indian forces are having clean chit to massacre the innocent people of Kashmir. “Our history is replete with the tales of great sacrifices,” Shah in a statement issued to GNS said, adding that resistance will continue till a solution according to the wishes and aspirations of the people of Jammu and Kashmir is not found.
Shah also strongly condemned the arrest of a youth Mushtaq Ahmad Sheikh, son of Ghulam Mohiuddin Sheikh of Nowhatta, Srinagar. “Mushtaq is the only brother of his seven sisters,” Shah said, adding the freedom movement cannot be suppressed through such arrests but will instead gain momentum.
“Those rulers following the Hitler, Mussolini and Stalin should be aware of the ultimate fate those dictators had to face; oppression is oppression and when it increases it ultimately has to vanish,” Shah added. (GNS)
