Manan hailing from Chanapora area of Srinagar, was studying in the final semester of B.Tech in SRM University in Ghaziabad Uttar Pradesh.

A protest was also held by the angry youth of the locality soon after the body reached his home.

JK Teachers's Forum have expressed a deep concern over his mysterious youth. The parents of the Manan demanded an investigation in the case. While UP Police claimed Manan committed suicide.

Ghulam Qadir Wani, father of Manan ruled out any possibility of suicide in the case.
