Youth Attacked by Bihari Succumbs to Injuries
ISLAMABAD; 17, September 2013: A 23-year-old youth who was injured in brutal attack by a non-local (Bihari) in Hakura area of Islamabad (Anantnag) district last week succumbs to his injuries today at Sher-i-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS) here in Srinagar.
A Police spokesman said that Bilal Ahmed Dar son of Muhammad Ramzan Dar resident of Hakura, Islamabad was stabbed by a non-local (Bihari) Muhammad Shamsher Sheikh son of Jalal ud Din resident of Loltitgram, Bihar on September 11 last week.
“Another youth Momin Yousuf had also sustained injuries in the fight between Bilal and Muhammad Shamsher,” the spokesman said, adding that Police has registered a case under section 302 crpc against Shamsher and he has been arrested.
Eye-witnesses told, Shamsher after stealing some household items in a house was fleeing away and both the youth chased him, however Shamsher attacked on the youth injuring both of them.
Soon the news reached Hakura, people took to streets and demanded stern action against the culprit, a local from the area told.
