SRINAGAR: Syed Ali Geelani called for shutdown in various parts of Kashmir later this month. He called for shutdown across Kashmir valley on January 26, the republic day of India.
Geelani also called for shutdown in Handwara on January 25 against the massacre of 1990, in which about nine civilian protesters were allegedly killed by the personnel of Border Security Force(BSF).
Geelani called for shutdown in Kupwara on January 27 against the killing of about twenty-seven civilians in 1994 allegedly by the soldiers of 15 Panjab and Gudwal regiment.
