Observe India's Republic day as black day JKPL
SRINAGAR: Jammu Kashmir Peoples League, a constituent of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference, today appealed the people to observe India’s Republic Day as black day.
According to a press release by Peoples League ,Senior Hurriyat leader and Chairman of JKPL, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza said that the Kashmir’s had been fighting for the right to self-determination and Indian Republic Day had no relevance in J&K. Waza said, we don’t want to hurt the sentiments of Indian people but there is no other option to show our anger. “Our struggle is not against any nation, tribe, and religion or against the sovereignty of any country. But our struggle is the struggle for our rights”, adding “Kashmir movement does not belong to any particular individual.
Meanwhile the spokesperson of JKPL imtiyaz reshi said that senior
hurriyat leader and chairman jkpl Mukhtar ahmad waza has paid glowing
tributes to the martyrs of Hanwarah and Kupwara on their death
anniversaries.
Waza asked the Kashmiri people to observe India’s
Republic Day on January 26 as black day to convey to the world community
that New Delhi continued to deny them their inalienable right to
self-determination, Waza said adding that martyrs are the assets an the
real heroes of this movement and the blood and sacrifices given by our
martyrs will definitely bear fruit and we will be free from India .
