Cross-LoC Trade Fails to Resume After PAK Drivers Refusal
SRINAGAR: The cross Line of Control (LoC) trade could not be resumed today as the drivers refused to drive their vehicles to Salamabad Uri in north Kashmir.
One driver was arrested after 114 packets of brown sugar were recovered from his truck on January 17, leading to suspension of the trade and Karvan-e-Aman bus service between Srinagar and Muzaffarabad, capital of PAK.
Official sources said after several meetings between the reprsentatives of PAK and this side at Zero-point at Kaman post in Uri sector, it was decided to resume the trade from today.
