PULWAMA; Awantipora Police have arrested an official of Forest department for allegedly raping a girl at Beigpora area here.
Police said the incident came to fore after the 18- year victim girl ( name withheld) gave birth to a baby and revealed that the forest official, M Ismail Dar of Nayaina Sangam Bijbehara, had allegedly raped her.
Father of the victim girl lodged a complaint in police station Awantipora against Ismail Dar, who posed as a faith healer and used to visit the house of the victim.
