Army Trooper Held in Rape Case
RAJOURI; An Army trooper was arrested on the complaint of a woman in Rajouri district yesterday, police said.
The 25-year-old woman lodged a complaint in the Rajouri police station that Army trooper Shamsheer Hussain, presently on leave, forcibly entered her house when she was alone yesterday, they said.
On the basis of the complaint, we arrested the trooper posted in Rajasthan, they said.
Medical examination of the woman was conducted and the report is awaited, they said.
This is the second incident of such kind wherein a security force men was held in rape case. A day before this one JKP cop was also booked on charges of rape in Doda.
