Hackers Deface Varsity Site to Protest against Expulsion of Students

NEWS DESK; A group of hackers identifying themselves as "Pakistan Haxors Crew" defaced a university website to lodge their protest against the expulsion of 67 Kashmiri students from Meerut's Swami Vivekanand Subharti University (SVSU).

However, they seem to have got one thing totally wrong. They defaced the page of a Swami Vivekanand University (SVU) in Sagar, Madhya Pradesh instead.

The hacked website, http://svnuniversity.edu.in/bore the logo of the hackers' group. The text underneath it read, "|#| Security Breach |#|Feel The Power Of Pakistan Haxors Crew. We Are Sleeping But Not Dead."

More text in Urdu detailed a news report about the expulsion from the Meerut University, below which was English text: "Free Kashmir. Free Syria. Stop Spying On US. Stop Killing Muslims." Meanwhile, the page of the Meerut university, http://www.subharti.org, was functioning normally.
