JKP Constable Arrested for Molesting Girl
DODA; A constable of Jammu and Kashmir Police (JKP) has been arrested for molesting a girl at Pul Doda.
According to Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Doda, a complaint was filed by Khushi Mohammad, son of Abdul Aziz, a resident of Pul Doda that on the intervening night of March 19 and 20, a JKP constable namely Surinder Singh, son of Koshari lal, a resident of Ranka, Thathri barged into his house and molested his daughter.
On the basis of the complaint, a case under FIR number 46/14 under Section 458/354 RPC was registered at police station Doda, SSP added.
On some specific inputs, police team from Doda police station arrested the accused constable, he added. Further investigation into the case is going on.
