Mahaz-e-Azadi Expresses Shock Over Death Sentence to 529 Morsi Supporters
SRINAGAR; Chief patron Jammu Kashmir Mahaz-e-Azadi (MeA) Muhammad Azam Inqilabi Saturday expressed shock over an Egyptian court verdict sentencing 529 people to death in a mass two-day trial.
In a statement here, Inqilabi termed it a verdict of a “kangaroo court”.
“Heirs of pharaoh have gone berserk and now even judges have sided with them in this butchery,” he said. He expressed grief over support of some Muslim countries to “fascist egyptian rulers”.
“It is quite surprising that while circumambulating the Kaaba Muslims of different countries have only one sect− monotheism and to seek forgiveness. But when they reach to their respective countries they take ihram out and mar themselves with sectarianism,” he added.
He said egocentricity, arrogance and paganish and atheistic bent of mind of some Muslim rulers entices them to victimize and vandalize the innocent Muslims.
MeA patron said three institutions are necessary to confront internal confusion of Muslim Ummah.
“In every Muslim country to protect the faith and religion appointment of Ameeri-Shariat is necessary under whom Milli Shoora and Sharia Courts are established,” he said.
He said in the presence of such a setup Muslim rulers can be made accountable.
On Kashmir he said Ulemas, religious leaders, scholars and intellectuals will have to play their role in safeguarding erosion of moral values and faith.
“Establishment of Ameeri-Shariat and Sharia Court has remedy of many of our issues. After this not even a single bottle of wine will be found anywhere. Nor our daughters will go on tours without guardians or do anything disrespectful,” he added.
Meanwhile Inqilabi said the status-quo on Kashmir is fraught with dangerous consequences.
“Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif should organize a conference consisting of China, Afghanistan, Tajikistan and invite representatives of Saudi Arab, Iran, Turkey, Malaysia and Indonesia to press for peaceful resolution of Kashmir issue,” he said.
He said in the conference strategy to solve Kashmir issue should be chalked-out.
