Restrictions To Be Imposed in Srinagar City Tomorrow
SRINAGAR; Government will impose restrictions in parts of the Valley on Saturday after a youth was killed in government forces firing in Bandipora district.
Sources said that restrictions will be imposed in Naidkhai, Bandipora main town, Sumbal in the district.
Kashmir’s Divisional Commissioner Shailender Kumar said restriction will be imposed in district after the teenager’s killing. The government has already ordered a probe into the death of Farhat Dar, 17 in Naidkhai today.
Sources said restrictions will also be imposed in summer capital Srinagar. During a meeting of the top security officials held in Srinagar it was decided to impose restrictions in Maisuma and parts of Old City.
However, Kumar, said no decision was taken on imposing restrictions in Srinagar. “If need arises we will impose restrictions in Srinagar,” he said.
Restrictions will also be imposed under section 144 in various parts of Baramula district including Sopore and Palhalan, sources said.
