Schools, Colleges to Reopen on March 17
SRINAGAR; According to Director School Education, Kashmir, all schools from Primary to Higher Secondary level, both Government and recognized private schools, shall remain closed till March 15 in view of heavy snowfall in Kashmir.
District Development Commissioner, Udhampur, Yasha Mudgal has ordered closure of schools falling in the hilly areas of winter zone of the district till 15 March 2014.
“All the schools falling in the hilly areas of winter zones of Udhampur district shall remain closed for 3 days from March 13 to March 15, 2014,” DC’s order said.
Meanwhile, according to an order issued by the Higher Education Department, all the government and private degree colleges of Kashmir division shall remain closed till 15 March 2014.
