SRINAGAR;  Indian police arrested Hurriyat leader, Muhammad Ashraf Sehrai, along with his associates in Sopore, today. The police took Muhammad Ashraf Sehrai and his associates into custody in Watlab area of Sopore when they were on their way to Bandipora to address a seerat conference titled "Azadi - in the light of Islam.". The police lodged the arrestees in a local police station.

Meanwhile, Chairman of All parties hurriyat conference Syed Ali Shah Geelani will address the conference on phone.
