Mehjoor Remembered on his Death Anniversary
SRINAGAR; Ghulam Ahmad Mehjoor, a famous Kashmiri poet was remembered today on his 62nd death anniversary across the Valley.
At Budgam, Cultural Educational Environmental Organization and Oxford Educational Society in collaboration with the District Information Office and Chief Education office, Budgam organized an event in this connection also.
Many writers, poets, thinkers and students were present at the occasion. Speaking on the occasion, the scholars highlighted the contribution of the poet.
Meanwhile, the Day was also observed in Degree College, Pulwama by A.R. Azad Foundation in collaboration with District Information Office, Pulwama.
