Legislative Assembly Speaker Mohammad Akbar Lone threatened to send Kashmir Monitor writer to gallows for publishing a news item that has upset him.

An angry Speaker, who had issued summons to The Kashmir Monitor, lost his cool in his chambers saying "I will send you to gallows, do you want to go behind bars".
The speaker has now asked for written reply to his summons regarding a news item: 'Lone does it again, this time with Muzaffar Beigh', that had appeared in this paper on Sunday. The reply to the notice is to be submitted by the 13th of March after which the Speaker said he will decide about the next course of action.
