2nd track of Hyderpora flyover thrown open for public
SRINAGAR; 16, Aug 2012: 340 mtr span second track of Hyderpora flyover, constructed at a cost of Rs. 33.84 crore, was thrown open for public by the Minister of State for R&B, Javed Ahmad Dar in presence of Minister of State for Home and Tourism Nasir Aslam Wani today while the first track of the flyover stands already dedicated to public in August last year.
Flyover is a part of Rs 212 crore 17.80 km Athwajan-Parimpora section of 4 lane Srinagar bypass project which is scheduled to be completed by October this year.
The project comprises 17.80 km road length, four major brides at Lasjan, Padshahibagh, Chanpora, Tengpora and one flyover at Hyderpora intersection. 98 percent work of the project has been completed at an accumulated cost of Rs. 203.17 crore. The contract of the project was given to Valecha Engineering ltd Mumbai and completed by Multi Tech Engineering, a local firm headed by Farooq Mir Lasjan.
