58th Junior National School Games from September 3
SRINAGAR; 24, Aug 2012: The 58th under-17 Football Championship is being organized by the Department of Youth Services & Sports from September 03 under the aegis of School Games Federation of India in which over 24 teams across the country are expected to participate.
Minister for Medical Education, Youth Services & Sports, R S Chib chaired a high level meeting to finalize the arrangements for the conduct of these games today.
The meeting was told that the event will kick start at 11 am on September 3 at Bakshi Stadium and matches will be played at Kashmir University, Islamia College and Pologround.
The Minister asked for ensuring massive participation of youngsters to witness the event because such events encourage the budding talented youth.
